Can you trade stocks in Telegram?
Yes, as stock tokens. Catch is a Telegram app where you buy and sell stock tokens such as Apple, Tesla and Nvidia 24/7, from one dollar balance on Base and Robinhood Chain, for 0.50% once per move, $0.10 minimum. The tokens are issued by Coinbase on Base and by Robinhood Assets (Jersey) Limited on Robinhood Chain, not by Catch.

Open Catch in Telegram
Tap Open in Telegram. Catch signs you in with your Telegram account, with no form or password.
Add money
Pay by card, or send USDC on Base or USDG on Robinhood Chain from an exchange or another wallet.
Pick a stock and slide to buy
Choose a stock like Apple, Tesla or Nvidia. See the price and the fee first, then slide to confirm. Selling works the same way.
What you are trading
A stock token is a blockchain token that gives economic exposure to one listed share or ETF. Catch lists 70 stocks and ETFs: 69 have a Robinhood token on Robinhood Chain, 17 have a Coinbase token on Base, and 16 have both.
What sits behind each token depends on its issuer; the first question below sets out both.
Other ways to trade stock tokens in Telegram
Walt, formerly Wallet in Telegram, also sells stock tokens inside Telegram, on TON, from Monday to Friday and not on US market holidays.
Telegram trading bots such as Maestro also run on Robinhood Chain (DefiLlama lists their fees there). We have not checked whether they route stock tokens.
Questions
- What exactly am I buying?
- A stock token held in your Catch wallet, not a brokerage account. Coinbase describes each of its tokens on Base as a beneficial claim on an underlying share, held 1:1 in regulated, bankruptcy-remote custody separate from Coinbase. Robinhood's tokens on Robinhood Chain are tokenised debt securities issued by Robinhood Assets (Jersey) Limited: they give economic exposure to the underlying share but no legal or beneficial rights in it, and Robinhood says each is backed 1:1 by a share held by a licensed custodian.
- Can I trade stocks in Telegram at weekends?
- Yes. Catch has no trading hours, so stock tokens trade at night, at weekends and on US market holidays. While US markets are closed there is no live share price to compare with, so token prices can move away from the last close.
- What does it cost?
- Catch charges 0.50% once per move, $0.10 minimum. You get 5% to 25% of the Catch fee back as cashback, by tier. Moving dollars between Base and Robinhood Chain has no Catch fee; network and card fees are shown before you confirm.
- Do I need to know crypto?
- No. In Telegram you sign in with your Telegram account, and Catch sets up your wallet when you add money. Network fees come out of your dollars, so you never need to hold ETH. Card payments run through MoonPay and are not available in every country yet; you can also send dollars from an exchange.
- Which stocks can I trade?
- 70 stock tokens, including Apple, Tesla, Nvidia, Amazon, Microsoft and the SPDR S&P 500 ETF. Each has its own page under catch.exchange/stocks.
