How do I deposit and withdraw money from Botswana to buy US stocks?
One way is stock tokens such as Apple, Tesla and Nvidia in Catch, which runs in Telegram and on the web, does not block Botswana and trades 24/7 for 0.50% once per move, $0.10 minimum. Each is a token that tracks a US-listed stock, and you deposit by card through MoonPay or by sending USDC on Base from a wallet or exchange. To withdraw, you send USDC on Base from Catch to an exchange, since Catch has no withdrawal to a bank or a card.

Ways to add money from Botswana
From a wallet or exchange: Open Withdraw or Send (Pay in the Coinbase app), pick USDC and the network called Base, and send at least $5 to the address Catch shows under Add money. Only send on Base or Robinhood Chain; other networks may be lost. We have not checked whether your exchange lets you withdraw USDC on the Base network from Botswana, so confirm with it before you send.
By card: MoonPay runs card payments in Catch. On 5 Nov 2026, MoonPay's country list allowed card purchases from Botswana. MoonPay lists no Botswana pula, so expect your card to be charged in another currency, such as US dollars. Card top-ups start at $30. The first time, MoonPay asks for your name, date of birth and address, and sometimes a photo ID.
Botswana's Virtual Assets Act 2025 applies to providers of crypto services. Before you add money, check the rules that apply to you.
Your money sits in one balance, held in dollars, across Base and Robinhood Chain, and moving it between them has no Catch fee.
How to withdraw to Botswana
Sell your stock tokens for dollars, then open Send to an exchange in Catch. In your exchange, tap Deposit, pick USDC and the Base network, and paste that address into Catch. Only USDC on Base goes out this way; dollars on Robinhood Chain move to Base first.
Catch has no withdrawal to a bank or a card, and MoonPay's country list does not allow card sales from Botswana, so the way back to pula is an exchange that takes USDC on the Base network and pays out in pula.
We have not checked whether Yellow Card or another exchange takes USDC on the Base network from Botswana and pays out in pula, so confirm with yours before you send.
What you are buying
Catch does not buy shares on a US exchange for you.
Each stock token is a token that tracks a US-listed stock or ETF. The tokens are issued by Coinbase on Base and by Robinhood Assets (Jersey) Limited on Robinhood Chain, not by Catch.
Where Catch is not a fit
Catch sells stock tokens held in your Catch wallet, not a brokerage account. If you want a brokerage account, Catch is not a fit.
Catch has no bank transfer option. You add money by card through MoonPay, or from another wallet: USDC or ETH on Base, or USDG or ETH on Robinhood Chain.
If you live in the US, Catch is not a fit: Coinbase says its stock tokens are not available to persons in the US and other restricted places. Robinhood says its Stock Tokens are not available to residents of the US, Canada, the UK or Switzerland.
