Tokenised underlying assets may use proxies, beacons and issuer registries. Their issuer can retain upgrade, pause or address-blocking powers. These controls can affect the pool, reserve and your wallet even though the Catch family contracts are not upgradeable.
A matching proxy runtime hash alone does not prove its implementation is unchanged. Admission evidence records relevant underlying dependencies, and the indexer compares pinned identities. An identity match is not proof that every issuer permission or policy is unchanged.
Market and liquidity risk
The canonical genesis position starts one-sided. It is not a promise of deep exits at every price or size. Sell capacity depends on the current position state and other liquidity. Large swaps can have substantial impact or revert. Other pools can have different hooks, fees and liquidity.
Only the family’s liquid reserve backs redemption. Do not count unreleased inventory, locked-position principal, uncollected fees, treasury assets or another family’s reserve as additional liquid backing.
USD references and data
USD displays use indexed onchain reference markets. Where the quote is USDG, conversion assumes USDG parity with the dollar; it is not an independently verified dollar redemption rate. Thin liquidity, manipulation, a depeg or stale observations can make a displayed valuation misleading.
A tokenised asset trading around the clock does not mean the underlying traditional market or issuer redemption is open around the clock. Catch’s reserve accounting remains in token units. Live display conversions are not used to change the fixed primary release schedule.
Contracts, wallets and external services
Verified source means source correspondence, not an audit or safety guarantee. Contract bugs, compromised signing devices, malicious approvals, chain disruptions and operator configuration mistakes remain risks.
Catch’s BFF and indexer support the interface; they do not hold your private key or override contract checks. Explorer availability and aggregator hook allowlisting are separate dependencies. An external route can stop working even when the canonical pool still exists.
